Terms & Conditions — Candidates

SkillJag is a job marketplace that connects candidates with the people who are hiring. We help you find roles and, for a fee, reveal the hiring contact’s direct details so you can reach out yourself. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, or party to any employment relationship. We do not guarantee a job, interview, reply, or any particular outcome.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in India. You verify your phone number by WhatsApp OTP and set a password. Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. The information you provide must be accurate and your own.

Browsing jobs is free. Revealing a job’s hiring contact is a paid feature: you get a limited number of free unlocks, after which a paid subscription is required. To prevent abuse, unlocks are capped per day and some roles are capped by the employer. Prices, limits, and durations are shown at the point of purchase and may change for future purchases.

Paid access is a digital service delivered immediately. Because contact details are disclosed as soon as you unlock them, fees are non-refundable once you have unlocked any contact or your subscription has been used, except where a refund is required by law or where we failed to deliver the service. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; their terms also apply.

You agree to use hiring contacts only to enquire about the specific role, and:

• not to scrape, bulk-collect, store, resell, or share contact details;
• not to send spam, marketing, or repeated/harassing messages;
• not to contact anyone for any purpose other than a genuine job enquiry;
• to comply with all applicable laws when reaching out.

Misuse may result in suspension or a permanent ban without refund.

When you unlock a job’s contact, we share your name and phone number with that employer so they can reach you too — this is part of the service and you consent to it by unlocking. We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and our Privacy Policy.

Subscribers may opt in to WhatsApp job alerts. You can opt out at any time. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We send only what you have opted into.

If a listing looks fraudulent, asks you for money, or is otherwise misleading, please report it. We review reports and may remove listings or ban companies, but we cannot vet every posting and do not warrant the accuracy or legitimacy of any job.

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of any employer, the outcome of any application, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where permitted, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months.

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with a new date; continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using SkillJag at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
