Terms & Conditions — Employers

SkillJag lets you post jobs for free. Candidates browse listings and pay to unlock your nominated hiring contact so they can reach you directly. When a candidate unlocks your contact, we also share their name and number with you as a lead. We are a listing platform only — not a recruitment agency — and we do not guarantee any number or quality of candidates.

You must be at least 18 and authorised to post on behalf of the company and the role concerned. You represent that the information in your company account and listings is accurate and that you are entitled to recruit for the roles you post.

Every listing must be a genuine, current vacancy. You must not post:

• fake, misleading, expired, or duplicate roles;
• jobs that charge candidates any fee, deposit, or “registration” cost;
• MLM, pyramid, “work-from-home kit”, or other scam schemes;
• discriminatory requirements or unlawful content;
• roles that are illegal or that you are not authorised to fill.

For each job you provide a hiring contact (name, and phone and/or email) that we reveal to candidates who unlock it. You confirm that the person named has consented to their details being shared with candidates for recruitment, and that you have the right to share them. You can cap how many candidates may unlock a given role.

New and unverified listings are reviewed before going live; verified companies may post directly. We may edit, reject, remove, or ban any listing or company at our discretion — for example after abuse reports — without notice. Verification does not imply our endorsement.

Candidate details you receive through unlocks or leads may be used only to assess and contact that candidate about the relevant role. You must:

• handle the data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
• not resell, share, bulk-store, or repurpose it;
• not send spam or unsolicited marketing;
• delete it when no longer needed for the role.

You must not collect money from candidates, harvest candidate data, post on behalf of unauthorised third parties, or misuse the platform. Breach may lead to immediate removal of your listings and a permanent ban.

Posting jobs is currently free. We may introduce employer-side paid features in future; any charges will be shown before you incur them.

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant candidate quality, availability, or that any hire will result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for candidate conduct or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where permitted, our total liability to you is limited to any fees you paid us in the preceding three months.

You will indemnify SkillJag against claims, losses, and costs arising from your listings, your use of candidate data, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with a new date; continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend or terminate company accounts that breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
